I represent professionals seeking initial professional licensure or who are the subject of an investigation or discipline by their professional licensure board. Most of my clients have never been the subject of any type of investigation, public discipline or peer review process. Some of my clients are struggling with chemical dependency, addiction or a mental or physical condition that threatens their ability to practice their profession. This can be a very stressful and overwhelming time. I take time with each client to listen to their questions, concerns and fears and to explain the process in which they find themselves.
A founding member of Collis, Smiles & Collis, LLC, I focus my practice on representing individuals and companies before the State Medical Board of Ohio, Ohio State Dental Board, Ohio Board of Nursing, Ohio Pharmacy Board, Counselor and Social Worker Marriage and Family Therapy Board, Ohio Chiropractic Board, Ohio Psychology Board, Ohio Respiratory Care Board and Ohio Accountancy Board, and other professional licensure boards, as well as appeals of the decisions of those agencies to the Common Pleas Courts, Appellate Courts, and the Supreme Court of Ohio.
